BALL, Dorothy Margaret – Passed away peacefully at University Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family, on Thursday, February 2, 2023 in her 87th year. Reunited with her dearly loved husband Lloyd Ball (2021), with whom she shared 64 wonderful years.
Loving mother of Richard Ball (2015), Janice (Mark) Kirwin, Sheila (Peter) Johnson, and Bradley (Joanne) Ball. Treasured grandmother of Michelle (Jon) Hutcheson, Leanne Ball (Bob), Greg (Ashley) Ball, Matthew (Catharine) Kirwin, Susan Kirwin (Faiez), Vince (Danielle) Kirwin, Allison (Dan) Augello, Patrick Loosley, Mitchell Ball (Jenah), Carly Ball and Brianna Ball (Eli). Step grandmother of Jeremy Johnson (Kyla), James Johnson, Joel (Linda) Johnson. Great grandmother “GG” of eighteen.
Dear sister of John (Dianne) Schultz and sister-in-law of Margaret Ball. Predeceased by sisters-in-law Marie Schultz, and Helen (Harold) Ulch, and brothers-in-law Gerald (Margaret) Ball, Allan (Barbara) Ball, and Watson Ball. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
We will miss Mom’s smile and laughter, the quiet strength, the deep and unfailing pride for family, and the amazing creative talents that we relied on so often. We will treasure our memories of her forever.
A private family service will be held at McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 with interment later.
