Dennis passed away at University Hospital, London surrounded by his family on Friday, March 28, 2014 at the age of 51 years. Dearly loved husband of Jackie (nee Fowlie) for 28 years. Loving dedicated dad of Brittany, Brandon and Bryan – the 3 “Brs”. Cherished son of Roy and Vera (nee Hislop) Gibbons. Dear brother of Debbie Currie (Greg), Don (Sue), Dave (Denise) and Diane Callbeck (Milt). Son-in-law of Jean Fowlie and Chuck (Ev) Fowlie. Brother-in-law of Randy, Rick, Jim (Laura). Dennis was taken much too early in life and will be greatly missed by his many dear friends including his special canine friends Penny, Buddy and Gracie. He was a person of very few words but touched many with his quiet, kind and supportive approach to life. Dennis had many passions including a love of the outdoors, woodworking, chainsaw wood carving and time spent at the family’s Lake Huron cottage. Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 11 am. Memorial donations in Dennis’s memory to Trillium Gift of Life (cheques accepted) would be appreciated.
