Obituary for Cornelius  Johannes deGraaf (Case)

deGraaf: Cornelius (Case) Johannes: at the age of 85 years, Case deGraaf of Ingersoll passed away peacefully on January 26th, 2015 after a brief illness. Surrounded by family and friends at University Hospital in London, ON. Case was born on May 12th, 1929 in Alkmaar, Holland where he lived until immigrating to Canada in 1955 with his devoted wife Bep. They embarked on this new journey and their life took many interesting and often unexpected turns; eventually settling in Oxford County in 1967 on his beloved Grandview Farm. Case built a life there that he loved with hard work, great friends and a loving family. Survived by his wife Bep; Children Patrick and wife Deborah, Richard and wife Sandra and RoseMary deGraaf and Jeff Teeple. Grandchildren, Michael and wife Carrie, Danielle, Meghan and partner Thomas, Gillian and partner Carlo, Cameron, Graham, Patricia and partner Steuart, Alyson and Ryan and Alexander. Great Grandchildren Ella, Casen, Jack and Madelyn. Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The complete funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 11am Fr. Gilbert Simard presider. Cremation to follow. Donations in Case’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society (cheques accepted) would be appreciated. Case… Dad..
