Passed away peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on April 11, 2016 at the age of 52. Cherished wife of Michael J. Martineau of Ingersoll. Loving mother of Laura and Daniel Martineau. Beloved daughter of Bobbi Panter (Coe), Grant Panter and Peter Williams. Survived by dear sisters Sue Panter, Stephanie deRoux, and “Little Sue”, brother Geoff, Brother in Law Rodney Hough and nephews and nieces Matthew & Michael Panter-Hough and Sarah & Amy deRoux. A caring, compassionate teacher and lover of animals, nature, music and the arts, Claire will be greatly missed by many extended family members, dear friends, neighbours, co-workers and former students. A memorial service celebrating Claire’s life will be held at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 56 Thames Street South, Ingersoll on Sunday April 24, 2016 at 2pm. All are welcome to attend a brief reception downstairs at St. Paul’s immediately following the memorial service. Donations accepted towards a music award and the music programme in Claire’s memory at “Ingersoll District Collegiate Institute”.
