Charles (Chuck) Eugene Wilson Sr. passed away peacefully on March 27th, 2020 at the Secord Trails Nursing Home in Ingersoll, Ontario at the age of 87.
Beloved husband of the late Lois Anne (Gratton). Beloved father of the late Christine Anne and the late Charles Eugene Jr. Also predeceased by his sisters and their husbands; John and Helen Meridel Walsh, as well as Frank and Mary Evelyn Loscombe.

Born in 1933 to his parents Inas Elizabeth (Manzer) and Earl Eugene Wilson, Chuck grew up on a farm near Ingersoll. After the farm was sold he worked with his Dad in the family business, Wilson & Son Plumbing and Electric. He was also often called upon, by family and friends, to lend a helping hand. He also built several homes in Ingersoll. After retiring, Chuck and Lois moved to their little cottage on Pickerel Lake where Chuck built them a beautiful Chalet style cottage. After completion they were able to enjoy a good few years of their retirement before moving back to Ingersoll to finish out their remaining years back "home".
Chuck was a very involved member of the community and held the esteemed position of being the longest standing member of the Ingersoll Lions Club. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and general outdoorsman. His smile, hearty laugh, and dry sense of humour were enjoyed by all who met him.
Cremation has taken place and service details will follow.
