August 27, 1942 – August 17, 2022
Peacefully with her sister Carolyn at her side, we announce the passing of our dear Betty on Wednesday August 17, 2022 at Alexandra Hospital. She was in her 80th year. She was a dear Aunt and loved by many. Betty is survived by Carolyn Lively (Pat), June Yerxa (Philip), Lillian Guiggey (John predeceased), Roy MacDonald (Jean predeceased), Frances Merrill (Dell predeceased). She was also predeceased by her husband Charles Porter and parents Myrtle Charlotte (Parker) MacDonald and father William David MacDonald as well as her brother Herman MacDonald (Marg) and sister Bertha Foster (Eastman).
The family would like to thank the staff at Alexandra Hospital with a special thank you to nurse Jen.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames Street South Ingersoll, on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 1-3 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alexandra Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
