VERHOEVEN, Bert H. – Passed away peacefully at Sakura House, on Sunday October 1st, 2017.  Hubert “Bert” Verhoeven of Embro was in his 80th year.  Dear husband of Mary (nee Duden) for 47 years.  Beloved dad of Brian (Angela), Keith (Lisa), Kevin (Sheri), and Anita (Mark) Fraser.  Loving Opa of 9 grandchildren, Liam, Owen, Kyra, Rachel, Michael, Kelly, Kyle, Griffin and Marley.  Predeceased by his infant son Barry, brother Matt, sister Teresa and John Bus and sister Diane Poels.  Bert will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Cathy (Marinus) Arts, Mary (Peter) Wynen, brothers Harry (Tina), Martin, and by his brother-in-law Jack Poels and sister-in-law Kathy Verhoeven.  Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at the Sacred Heart Church, 131 Thames Street North, Ingersoll, on Wednesday October 4, 2017 at 11am.  Father Gilbert Simard as celebrant.
