Obituary for Audrey Vivian WOODMAN

Peacefully in her sleep at Iler Lodge Long Term Care Home in Essex on Thursday, November 8, 2018, just one week shy of her 95th birthday. Audrey is now reunited with the love of her life, husband Clarence “Woodie” Woodman (1984). She was the loving mother of Glenda (1950) and Maribeth Koster (Roy), cherished Nana to Jonathon (Abbey) and Craig and Great Nana to Royce and Hailey. Audrey will also be remembered by her brother Ron (Diane), nephew Dave and niece Sue. She was predeceased by her parents Vic and Mabel Harrison.
Audrey’s joys in life came from her faith, her family, her wide circle of friends and, before her eyesight began to fail, her creativity and love of reading. She honoured God through her interest in others, nourishing family and life-long friendships and building new friendships upon her move to Essex.
The family extends our gratitude to the Staff at Iler Lodge Long Term Care Home. They were kind, caring, loving and respectful and enjoyed Audrey’s sense of humour.
Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll on Wednesday, November 21 from
1 – 1:45 PM, just prior to A Celebration of Life Service which will follow at the funeral home at 2 PM. For those who wish to honour Audrey, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
