Passed away peacefully on December 19, 2018, at Victoria Hospital, London, in his 78th year.  Beloved husband of 51 years to Margaret (Moerman). Loving father of Diane Larder (Brian), Joe Mezenberg (Jen), MaryAnn Pardy (Andy), and Christine Baigent (Mark). Cherished Opa to Jarrett, Kandice, Thomas, Loretta, Alysha, Blake, and Colby. Dear brother of Ann Wieggers (Tony), Christine Opsteen (Cor), Gerry Mezenberg (Joan), Willie Verberne(Tony), Mary VanAlphen (John), Cor Mezenberg (Louise), and Henry Mezenberg.  Also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Predeceased by his parents John and Lamberdina Mezenberg, brothers Adrian, Martin, John (Helena), and infant sister Ardina, Tony was fondly remembered for his years of involvement in the farming community and his services with Stelco. He enjoyed a good game of cards and fellowship. Our heartfelt thank you to all the great doctors and nurses who cared for him during his brief illness.  Friends and family will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church 131 Thames Street North, Ingersoll on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 10:30 am with Fr. Gilbert Simard presider. Private family interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (cheques accepted) would be appreciated.
