Obituary for Ann ROBB

Ann Marie Robb ( Ertley) June 01 1940 to December 28 2023
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our loving Wife, Mother, Grandma, and G-ma on Thursday December 28th 2023.

Ann leaves behind her husband Dennis with whom she spent 63 plus glorious years. Devoted mother to James “Duff” Robb, (Cindy), and Colleen Aarts (Jack). Loving Grandma Ann to; Steven Robb (Miranda), Craig Robb (Alexandra), Rebecca Vink (Brian), Lucas Aarts (Cecile), and Hannah Aarts (Travis) . In recent years the pride of her life became her 4 Great Grandchildren Blakely, Jackson, Charlotte, Eleanor, and one on the way.

Ann was predeceased by her parents Fred and Mary Ertley of Kingston Pennsylvania, brother-in-law Lewis Rinehimer of Pocono Pines Pennsylvania, and sister-in-law Anne Robb of Woodstock Ontario. Survived by her sisters Joan Rinehimer, and Molly Sanfilippo (Michael) in Pennsylvania USA, and her brother-in-law Jim Robb of Woodstock Ontario.

After marrying Dennis in 1960, Ann immigrated to London Ontario, then onto Ingersoll Ontario where she became a proud Canadian Citizen. Ann was a long- time employee as a Pharmacy Assistant with Ingersoll Pharmacy, Big V, and Shoppers Drug Mart. It was in this position that Ann was able to shine with her love of people.

Ann loved her family fiercely and was a devoted wife, and mother. She was the absolute model for what a grandmother should be. Despite her small stature, her spirit was unbeatable, her character generous, and her love irreplaceable.

As a sports fan she was a die-hard Toronto Blue Jays fan, and Football fan. In her spare-time she was an avid reader, and had a special room set up completing hundreds of jigsaw puzzles.

Ann is also remembered by many friends, new and old

Cremation has taken place, and there will be no visitation or service at this time as per Anns’ wishes. A private family service will take place at a later date.

If so desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to Woodstock Hospital Foundation, Jays Care Foundation or a Charity of your choice.
