Obituary for Alvin (Shadow) THORNTON
Alvin Leroy Thornton (Shadow) - of Ingersoll passed away peacefully with family by his side on Wednesday October 2, 2019 at the age of 75.
Loving father of Jason Thornton (Jessica), Melissa Thornton (Allan), and Amanda Thornton (Brandon). Grandfather to 17 grandchildren and 1 on the way. Loved by his siblings Elaine Hall, Lillian Playford and Ken Thornton (Iris). Predeceased by his parents Austin and Sarah Thornton. Alvin was a hard worker his entire life committing over 35 years as a heavy equipment operator.
After retirement he maintained a routine in which family and friends could look forward to regular visits. Alvin will be missed dearly by all those around him.
