It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother Josephine on Sunday, February 12, 2023 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late William Edwin Thomas (1968). Loving mother of the late Gladys (Bill), Jean (late John), late Edith (Wes). Betty (Wayne), Shirley (late Reed), and Bill. Cherished grandmother of 19 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 30 great great grandchildren, 2 great great great grandchildren. Dear sister of Donald Clarke and Rosemary Marvin. Predeceased by her parents Hazel and Robert Clarke, 4 brothers, 3 sisters and 1 great great great granddaughter Paislee.
Josephine worked at the Ingersoll Cheese Company for 35 years and Terrance Gardens Restaurant. She also loved knitting, playing cards, and volunteered to teach knitting at the Seniors Centre, joined the Red Hats Society, Royal Canadian Legion BR. #119 Ingersoll, in 1985.
The joy of her life was because she did it her way.
Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home 246 Thames Street South Ingersoll on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 12-12:45 p.m. with the service at 1 p.m. Spring interment will be at Harris Street Cemetery.
