Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on Sunday, January 27, 2019.  Albert Douglas Blashill of Ingersoll, in his 93rd year.  Beloved husband and partner of the late Agnus Dunham (2017) and Helen Haney.  Loved step father of Cathy Curtis (Ed), Denise Burdon and Deb Rylance (Al).  Dear step grandfather of Chad Curtis, Jessica Curtis, Steven Shewan, Nicole Shewan, Shannon Vink and Andrea Vink.  Loved brother of Dorothy Orton.  Cherished uncle of Kerry Dimitrick (Mike), Linda Lucas (Martin Mason-Grant), Deborah Orton, Virginia Zazulak, Jerry Lucas and Sandra Retzer (late Ed). Also survived by several great nieces, nephews, and friends.  Predeceased by his brother Charles, sister Betty, nieces Anita and Jacquie (John),  nephews Billy and Charles Jr. (Betty)   Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames Street S, Ingersoll, (519-425-1600) on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 from 10-10:45 am, where the funeral service will take place at 11 am.  A spring interment will take place in the Beachville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
