Arjan De Beer (1985-2022)
Arjan De Beer passed away unexpectedly at home in Verschoyle on Sunday, March 27th, 2022 at the age of 37.
Beloved partner to Gea Scheurwater, loving father of Dylan (5) and Dustin (3)
De Beer. He leaves behind his father Ben De Beer, and brother Ben Junior (Heidi). Arjan was predeceased by his mother Elly and brother Teun (Sylvia). Arjan will be deeply missed by Jarpi (Lola), his nieces and nephews, Ryan, Felicia, Cheyenne, Kevin, Jorja, Ty, and Garcia, all his extended family and friends.
Arjan was born on January 15, 1985 in Moergestel, Noord Brabant, Netherlands to parents Elly and Ben De Beer. In 1999 his parents immigrated to Canada. Arjan had a love for the trades and pursued that career by becoming an electrician. He was an extremely hard worker and always took pride in all his projects at work and home. He enjoyed watching his favourite soccer team, Feyenoord, play on TV and playing recreational soccer. His children were the most important part of his life. He was the best father they could ask for. He loved doing anything outdoors from going for walks looking for rocks, taking them to the beach and making a fire in the backyard. Arjan loved to travel and was an avid outdoorsman, who loved canoeing, camping, and snowmobiling with friends. He spent hours on the Thames River. He always looked forward to his yearly famous ugly sweater Christmas party and big bonfires.
Arjan taught us to enjoy the smaller things in life. To work hard but love your family harder. He was a quiet individual with a positive attitude, who will be greatly missed by many.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at The Elm Hurst Inn, Carriage House, on Sunday April 3, 2022 from 2-5 p.m.
