Obituary for John William BOLL

BOLL, JOHN WILLIAM:

It is with broken hearts that we announce that John W. Boll passed away peacefully February 25, 2022 at Sakura House in Woodstock after a fierce battle with cancer.

John will be missed and loved forever by his wife and best friend of 42 years Pat. John was a devoted family man and was the cherished father of Todd (Ashley), Keith (Justine) and beloved Papa of Trenten, Chase, Cameron & Payton. John will be forever missed by his mother Margaret, siblings Debby (Chris), Carol (Ken), Tim (Tammy), In-laws Patrick, Sarah, and Brendan along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Predeceased by his father Kees and brother-in-law Terence.

John was a loving generous man who lived for his family. He enjoyed sports, especially hockey and spent a lot of time involved in hockey pools with friends from work. He also loved old cars and owned and tinkered with many over his lifetime. He worked at Ingersoll Fasteners for 30 plus years and Toyota Canada for 10 years. He was a hard worker and provided for his family. To know him was to love him and there is now a big hole in our hearts. We will fill it with memories of him.

Special thanks to: the incredible Dr. Potvin and staff, and the radiation department for giving John a pain free quality of life. Dr. Violette and Sue for their care and concern. Dr. Sondhi for his unmatched compassion and care alongside the best palliative care team ever. St. Elizabeth Nurses and Paramedics for their wonderful care both day and night. Sakura House and Dr. Sondhi and Dr. Fryer for the peace and serenity given to John and our family with beautiful end of life care. Jennifer & Anne for their endless care and compassion, they are truly angels on earth. Special friends, Diana, Mary, Jim & Sandra, John & Christine, Rob, Collin, Mark, and Doug, your visits always lifted John’s spirits and brought him joy.

Friends will be received at the McBeath-Dynes Funeral Home, 246 Thames Street South, Ingersoll, Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Masks and social distancing required. Cremation to follow with a private family interment. A celebration of life will be held later.

In lieu of flowers donations to VON Sakura House and London Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
